credithirecompany.co.ukThe UK credit hire directory

Who owns this site and how it earns

Published · Last verified

This is a directory of credit hire and accident management firms. We are not an insurer, not your insurer, and not a credit hire company. One listed firm holds paid Featured Partner placement. How we earn: /about/

credithirecompany.co.uk is a comparison directory of UK credit hire and accident management companies. It earns money from exactly one source: paid Featured Partner placement, currently held by Nationwide Accident Hire, labelled wherever it appears — and this page sets out what that arrangement buys and what it cannot. The site is not an insurer and does not supply vehicles or run claims itself.

Who publishes credithirecompany.co.uk?

The publisher entity is being confirmed and will be named in full on this page before the site is opened to search engines. It has a commercial relationship with Nationwide Accident Hire, this site’s Featured Partner, so treat every unit carrying the words “Featured Partner” as paid placement. The rules that keep that relationship out of the listing data are set out in the methodology and summarised below.

How does this site make money?

Through paid Featured Partner placement — currently five labelled unit positions: a home-page banner, pinned cards on directory and filter views where the partner matches the filter, a banner on the partner’s own listing, one inline banner per guide article, and a pre-loaded (removable) column in the comparison tool. There is no other revenue: no listing fees, no pay-to-be-added, no pay-to-be-removed, no affiliate links inside organic listings.

What does “Featured Partner” mean?

It means paid placement, and nothing else: the partner’s units are visually distinct, carry the words “Featured Partner” on the unit itself, and link with rel="sponsored". It does not buy a score, a field, a ranking position in the organic list, or softer treatment on the partner’s own listing. The partner’s own listing carries no review score, no registry number and no registered address at all, so no reputation signal on this site can be read as bought.

Where do the review scores on listings come from?

No review score is published on this site at present. When one is, it will name its platform, carry its collection date and link to the source profile, and it will be the platform’s own published figure — nothing blended, adjusted or invented. Paid Featured Partner listings carry no review score at all. The full rules are in the methodology.

Is this site an insurer or a credit hire company?

Neither: this site is a directory and does not supply vehicles, handle claims, sell insurance or give advice — and it is not your insurer.

Corrections

If a fact on any listing is wrong we will correct it with the change dated, under the same sourcing rules as the original data and never as part of any commercial arrangement. No corrections form is published here yet: a submission route that reaches a named recipient, with the consent and data-controller wording confirmed, has not been set up, and an unwired form that quietly discarded a correction would be worse than none.
